The ODI series between India and Australia has just ended in India. By winning the first match, the guest team Australia wanted to win the series. But, they could not. India has won the ODI series by winning the last two matches. The former Aussie captain Steve Smith played well in the match. But reportedly, Smith’s ton could not save Australia in Bengaluru! But on the opposite way, Rohit Sharma’s effective century helped India to win the match.
In the last 14th January 2020, the ODI series between India and Australia started. The guest team Australia won the match by 10 wickets. Yes, they got the dominating victory at their away venue. So, the fans of the Aussie team though to get the series victory. But it is India which possesses the strongest batting line up. And also at the home venue, they are too destructive. Fearsome as well. In the 2nd ODI, India won the match and returned to the series. The 3rd match was the series decider. So, both teams played seriously and tried to give their best. Australia came to bat first and Steve Smith scored the highest 131 runs. But, Smith’s ton could not save Australia in Bengaluru!
At the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the 3rd ODI started earlier today. Australia won the toss and came to bat. Like the 2nd innings, once again Aussie openers failed to make a good start. Captain Finch scored 19 runs and David Warner added 3 runs so far. But, Smith and Marnus Labuschagne tried to make a stand. Smith scored the highest 131 runs and Marnus Labuschagne scored 54 runs. Another player of the team Alex Carey added another 35 runs so far.
They scored only 286 runs in 50 overs. The score was too poor for India. Losing three wickets only, India chased the score. Virat added 89 runs but the highest scorer is Rohit Sharma who added 119 runs so far. In 47.3 overs, team India claimed the victory.
