By winning the 2nd match, the franchise team of Peshawar managed all two victories against the same opponent. The team Quetta Gladiators won the toss and decided to bowl first against the Zalmi. The match referee reduced the game to the 15 overs per side due to the rain.
Peshawar Zalmi came to bat first by losing the toss. Kamran Akmal and Imam opened the innings. But in 9 runs, Imam returned to the dressing room. The 2nd wicket partnership of the team added 30 more runs. Kamran added 23 runs. But the top-order players Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik played a bit well for the team.
