Luis Suarez has disappointed for missing the goal

The most successful team in the Copa America Uruguay is ruled out from the competition. They reached quarter-final successfully and also played well against Peru in the knockout level. But, through the tie-breaker, Peru beat Uruguay and Barca forward Suarez missed the first shot in the tie-breaker. After the defeat, Luis Suarez has disappointed for missing the goal. He cried a lot for making the mistake though it was an unfortunate fact but it happened to him. Edinson Cavani who is also an Uruguayan striker is standing beside his teammate. Even Uruguay coach also stated to accept the failure.

At Salvador earlier today, the 4th quarter-final in Copa America 2019 took place and in the selected time, no teams could score any goal. So, through the tie-breaker, Peru beat the 15th times Copa America winner by a 5 – 4 goals. In the tie-breaker, Luis Suarez took the first shot but goalkeeper Pedro stopped the shot. Earlier, the highest scorer in Uruguay also found the net but the referee cancelled the goal due to the off-side. 

However, Cavani has stood beside his teammate Suarez and also accepted the solid reality. He stated that Luis Suarez has disappointed for missing the goal in the most important moment. But it is football and it is life also. Somethings you can win and sometimes, you face the defeat. Earlier, they won Copa America but this time, they could not do it. It needs to accept.

The captain of the team Uruguay Diego Godin has also very frustrated for missing the chances. He stated that they just missed a chance. They tried to find the gap but it did not come. If they could score the goal, the picture would have changed. He also thought that they played well but still ruled out from the competition. They failed to score goals. Peru has taken the penalty shoots much better than Uruguay, Godin thought.

Uruguay last won the Copa America in 2011 and after that including the ongoing season, they failed to reach the semi-final consecutive three times. In the season of 2015, they faced the defeat against Chile in the quarter-final. And in the season of  2016, they could not pass the group stage.
