Islamabad United is one of the six franchise teams in the Pakistan Super League. We can also consider them as one of the most successful teams in PSL also. They have already won twice PSL title out of the last four seasons. They are also on the race to the throne in the season of PSL. Earlier today, the team played the 7th round in the tournament. And reportedly, Islamabad United beat Lahore Qalandars by 71 runs!

But still, the team of Islamabad is holding the 2nd position. On the other side, Lahore Qalandars is passing a very bad time. By playing five matches in the season of PSL, they just managed one victory.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore which is the home venue of Lahore Qalandars, they faced Islamabad United. The local team won the toss and decided to field first. It was not a brilliant idea for them.
Ronchi and Colin Munro started the innings for the United. By making 103 runs partnership, they led the team to a big total. Ronchi scored 48 runs. But Munro added the highest 87 runs so far. They only lost three wickets but scored 198 runs in 20 overs.
The bowlers of Lahore Qalandars were too expensive in the match. Three different bowlers took one wicket each for the team against Islamabad United. Later, Chris Lynn and Salman Butt opened the innings for Qalandars. Lynn did not add anything but scored a 0. Butt added 21 runs only. Top orders and middle orders of the team could not stand in front of the United bowlers. They lost all wickets in 18.5 overs. In the meantime, they scored only 127 runs so far.
