The official announcement has not come yet. But the future of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 has been decided already. IPL will not take place this year? The answer to the question has come out already. Because of the Coronavirus, the13th season of the IPL will not take place this year. The Indian cricket board (BCCI) has not announced it publicly but waiting for the government decision. The Indian government and the ministry of sports will reveal their new decision about the Visa. Just after that, the official announcement will come to the front. And if fails to do so, in the next 15th April, the ongoing ‘lockdown’ will be stopped. Then the board will sit with the Indian Premier League franchise teams and take a certain decision.

Until the next 15th April, all the foreign Visa has been cancelled to reduce the infection of the Coronavirus. The board is not quite sure that after the 15th April, the Indian government will open the visa. On the other hand, the infected peoples number in India has crossed a thousand. So, most of the people do not see any meaning of staging the Indian Premier League this year. Because of the reason, the rules of the IPL will change for the upcoming episode. In the season of 2021, IPL would take part with the new auction. But, the 2020 episode might be cancelled. An so, in the next year, it will take place with the current squad as we speak.
So, IPL will not take place this year? Yes, the answer has come to the front. An officer who is working with the IPL organiser has told that Indian Express that IPL 13 will not be staged this year. It will take place next year hopefully. Yes, they are fully aware of what is happening in the country as well as in the world. So, no one will take the risk.
