Team New Zealand is not vulnerable in the T20I format. But what they were up against was India. The team which possesses the strongest batting line up. Besides, they have Virat Kohli type players who are the best batsman in the world right now. But from the Black Caps, the fans expected one or two victories at their home venue. But, Black Caps have failed completely. They have taken the T20I format to another level. Considering their fighting style. Yes, New Zealand fought hard against India.

At the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, the 5th T20I took place between India and New Zealand. It was earlier today where India won the toss. So, they came to bat as usual. Losing only three wickets, India scored 163 runs there. The top scorer was Rohit Sharma. He added 60 runs and remained not out.

Rahul scored 45 runs but Shreyas Iyer scored unbeaten 33 runs for the team. Kohli did not play in the game because earlier they secured the series. So, it was just an official match for India.

But for New Zealand, it was a match of prestige. They came to chase the score. But in 20 overs, they scored 156 runs totally losing 9 wickets. Tim Seifert added 50 runs and Ross Taylor added the highest 53 runs for the team.

Now, they have the ODI series ahead. The ODI series consists of three matches. And it will start from next 5th February 2020.
